Christmas excitement

Landon has no idea what Christmas is about, but he sure likes all the decorations and lights.

Guatemala

Colton and paxton did so much good in Guatemala. Taking clothes down to the missionaries, building a house for a single lady with 6 children, and giving money to the mission leader. I hope that Cole will realize how fortunate he is, and how many luxuries he enjoys each day. There are so many people in the world you live such poverty strickened lives, and often we never think about them and their suffering. Even a little makes such a difference over there

Cutie Patootie

Landon just suddenly figured out how to sit and that was that. There was no learning curve either. Maybe he will just get up and walk too. He thinks that he is pretty hot stuff now. I love how excited he gets when he figures something out. I look at him and don not see a baby anymore.

Vance and Landon look so much alike it is uncanny. It is fun to see them together - Landon gets a big kick out of Tooties' silliness.

St George

We love spending time in St George and escaping the nasty weather up here. Our good friend Mayer took us on this crazy off road adventure to a place called Toquerville Falls. It was a harrowing ride out, but the Falls were really amazing. Unfortunately we had to pray all the way home because Pax never put gas in the car. The boys were petrified that we would break down in the wild. I knew my car though, and was not too panicked.

The boys got to see Landon after he was just a few hours old. They were so excited. Vance was grinning from ear to ear. Mac wanted to hold him first, and Cole was a bit emotional

We were so fortunate to have Sam and her family over for Christmas. Her little boy and Vance had the best time

The boys always love picking out their special pumpkin. Macoy thought that it was so cool that there were white pumpkins.

Cole must have chosen the worst looking, scariest costume ever. He scared the children so badly in the spook alley when he jumped out of the dark. One little girl even went home crying.

I love fall

Vance loves jumping into the raked up leaves. It is alittle frustrating to rake and then have him jump in the them and throw them around, but the pictures I get from it are so worth having to rerake.

Halloween

A big year for Colton, he carved his own pumpkin this year and was very creative. He is getting older

Nathan and Vance have a fondness for putting underwear on their heads. Should we be concerned?

The newest American citizen

I became an American citizen today, the last ones that will become citizens in time to vote. I want my boys to realize what a privelege it is to be able to do this. Every vote counts.

Our crazy Dad

Paxton may be smiling after riding 206 miles, but that was purely for the camera. He was really suffering after riding the Lotoja. We ended up in the ER about 1hour after this was taken. Will he do it again? Probably!

Macoy's sweet lion head daisy passed away 2 weeks ago so after a very somber funeral and burial, I got roped into buying not one, but two extremely cute white baby bunnies. Come and check them out.

Family never forgets

It seemed impossible to believe that it was 9 years since all my sibling had been together. It seemed like no time at all when we reunited in South Africa last year. What a great time for Mom to be with her children and all her granchildren.

Colton loved playing summer select soccer. We had to go up a size in boots and absolutely had to make sure that they were flashy so that he could remain "fancy feet." He was so excited to be picked as Captain for the Eden tournament.
